How to Create WordPress Page with BlockArt Plugin

BlockArt is a WordPress plugin designed to build out the site using Blocks and Templates. The BlockArt plugin allows you to design posts or page content for the WordPress site.

After you have successfully Installed and Activated the BlockArt plugin on your site, you can create the pages using the BlockArt Plugin.

BlockArt plugin comes with a wide range of Template Libraries such as sections, templates, and starter packs for your site. With the help of these templates, you can create custom pages for your site.

In this guideline, we will be discussing the step-by-step process of creating sections like demos and explaining the available templates.

1. Create a New Page #

Since we are designing a page using the BlockArt plugin, you will need to create a new page. For creating a new page, please follow the steps below:

  • Go to WordPress Dashboard > Pages
  • Click on Add New

Now, add the page’s title according to the site requirement. In the example here, we are adding the title of the page, BlockArt Plugin.

2. Adding BlockArt Templates #

At the top of the page editor, you will get an option BlockArt Library, which comes with a collection of templates.

Clicking on the option will redirect you to the area that consists of Sections, Starter Packs, and Templates.

Select the appropriate template and import them. After importing, you can see the templates on the newly created page.

3. Editing Imported Templates #

The next step is to edit the imported content replacing it with yours. After the template’s demo has been imported, it brings various images and content to your site.

In the screenshot below, we have imported the Banner 1 Section which has images, text, and buttons imported. Now, this needs to be changed.

For changing the demo content, click on the imported section and navigate to the right sidebar of the page editor.

You can see three options available in the right sidebar, i.e., Layout, Settings, and Advanced. All these available options have their own advantages.

Layout #

The Layout option allows you to add more templates on the current pages. You can select the necessary template and import it to the pages.

Settings #

The setting options include the options like changing the background images, color, container and sidebar width, text alignment, font family, etc.

Advanced #

Here you can set the margins of the imported section, z-index, and many more. Likewise, the Responsive options available within the advanced section allows you to enable or disable the imported section on different devices (Mobile, Tablet, and Desktop).

To edit the imported section, click on the respective section, which will directly redirect you to the editor section in the right sidebar.

In the above section, we have just imported one section and explained how to edit the contents of the section. You can import the other section or templates similarly and edit them by following the above guideline.

Once the page is created, you can publish it and view it on the front end.

Create Page Using BlockArt Blocks #

The above method is suitable if you want to import the available templates and edit the content of the templates. However, if you wish not to import the template and use the block instead, you can do so by following the steps below:

  1. Create a New Page.
  2. Click on the (+) icon to see a list of BlockArt Blocks available.
  3. Select the Block you want to use and click to add on the editor.
  4. Once selected, you can edit the block from the block customization option available on the right-hand of the post/page editor. It generally consists of Settings and Advanced settings available under which you can customization the block.
