Location: Appearance → Customize → Header → Site Identity
The Site Identity option allows you to customize the Site Logo, Title, Tagline, etc., of your site. These are visible on all pages and posts. Moreover, it helps the users be aware of the website and brand they are interacting with.
Under the Site Identity, you get the following options listed from where you can add the Logo, Title, and other necessary elements.
Site Logo #
Upload the Logo for your site.
Retina Logo #
Upload a Retina Logo. This is for the devices with “Retina Display,” such as Apple devices.
[Note: While uploading the Retina logo, make sure you Upload 2X times the size of your current logo. E.g., If your current logo size is 140*80, upload a 280*160 sized logo.]
Logo Height #
Once your logo is added, you can choose the Logo Height. This will only set the height of your logo and doesn’t change the width of the logo.
Site Icon #
A Site Icon is a unique icon appearing at the browser’s top. You can upload the Site Icon for your site from the option available.
Site Title #
The Site Title is a name you set for the website. You can change the Site Title text for your site.
Site Tagline #
The Site Tagline is a short statement that describes your entire website. You can change the Site Description text for your site.
Under Colors, you can change the text color of the Site Title and Site Tagline.
